We are seeking qualified candidates for a HR Specialist position at our Signs Plus office in Phoenix, Arizona.
This position will be part of the existing HR team for the company, but will be focused on our newly acquired commercial sign businesses.
As we continue to grow in the Phoenix area, additional HR responsibilities will be added to the position.
About the PositionUnder the direction of the HR & Culture Ownership Manager, and a dotted line to on-site management, this person will administer the day-to-day HR responsibilities and manage various human resources programs for the company.
o Talent Acquisition - will coordinate openings, job posting and hiring for AZ o On-boarding - will deliver on-boarding programs for on-site and remote employees o Assist the Payroll and Benefits Specialist with bi-weekly payroll and be the primary local point of contact for payroll and benefits o HR Administration - General HR administration for the location o Training - develop and deliver training programs as needed o Employee relations - successfully resolve employee issues in collaboration with on site management o Process unemployment claims and represent the company as needed o Travel to other company locations as needed o Other miscellaneous duties as neededAbout YouEducation/Experience/Certifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field strongly preferred o 5
years' experience in HR o SHRM or HRCI certification a plus Skills Required:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
